Dialogue

--Don't forget me when you're "a somebody."

--I won't forget you, but you will treat me differently. You will shy away from me, or resent me, or put me up on a pedestal.
I won't change. Will you?

  2. YOU have always been "somebody" I admire and like a whole heck of a lot! I don't see that changing even as you become more widely recognized for your beautiful work and the inspiration you you provide to so many. You are authentic, the real deal, shining your unique light! :-)

Your entry made me think of one of my favorite Emily Dickinson poems. :-)

    I'M NOBODY! WHO ARE YOU?
    by Emily Dickinson

    I'm nobody! Who are you?
    Are you nobody, too?
Then there's a pair of us -don't tell!
    They'd banish us, you know.

    How dreary to be somebody!
    How public, like a frog
To tell your name the livelong day
    To an admiring bog!
