For a long time, when asked how I put together my collages, I didn't have a clear answer. Then I came across this description that fits my process exactly:
long pre-meditation, swift execution.
Exactly.
This piece resides in Wales; it was a gift to one of my staunchest allies. It's evening there now, so I'll just say Nos da.
LOL.. so true...first time to your blog and it is beautiful.

I love your work, especially how you combine fabric and paper with sewing. It does my heart good!!!
ReplyDeleteWhat a great description of how you work! I love the idea of you acting swiftly after you've meditated long and hard.
ReplyDeleteGreat!!!
ReplyDeleteOhhh, yes. Sometimes my excecution is not quite swift enough~but that is my impatience needing to be "bridled".
ReplyDeleteThis is really lovely Colette. I think my pictures are the opposite. A short think and a long draw...lol.
