I took myself off to The Workroom yesterday afternoon to say hello to Lisa and her ATC group. It was worth the long streetcar ride. I really, really liked the space, so hats off to the owner, Karen. The Workroom has a row of sewing machines and piles of gorgeous fabrics and other essentials -- everything you need to do your sewing if you don't have a machine at home.
As a bonus Cori was there, Martha and Ray dropped in briefly, and the house doggie just wanted to be stroked and petted and...ended up giving me a slobbery kiss right on the mouth. What staggered me was how clean her breath was.
These two fat quarters called out my name.
I am glad you had a good time. It is good to be with friends.
