Friday's child

That was the week that was. It's over, let it go.

My sciatic nerve introduced itself to me for the first time. I'm well acquainted with pain in my lower back, but this was new. When the pain wouldn't go away (and I am reluctant to take more than one dose of pain medication within a span of 24 hours), I went to a chiropractor. It helped a lot, and I have my second and final appointment this evening.

So I'm behind in a few things, but catching up.

Laughter is the best medicine: After I read the transcript of Couric's interview, I had a mind to call the PMO (Prime Minister's Office, Ottawa) and tell the PM that we'd been annexed while we weren't looking.

COURIC: Explain to me why that enhances your foreign policy credentials.
PALIN: Well, it certainly does because our-- our next door neighbors are foreign countries [Canada and Russia]. They're in the state that I am the executive of.

  1. LOL about Palin....I need to go read that transcript...I caught only a snippet of the interview and Katie was looking at her like she had 2 heads on.

Hope your back is better today....love your baby head!

  2. And we all know what a threat Canada has been to Alaska.

    Hope you're feeling better!

  3. The lunacy of a certain party's politics knows no bound - particularly in this election. Nobody could make this stuff up!

Hope your back is much better. I have always found chiropractors to be beneficial. xoxox
