It is thundering as I write.
My Texan niece asked me to make her a pin cushion. She is a fashion designer who works for JC Penney, who, I hope, will also be working in her home studio.
I made her this little house. Being an impatient sort, I eye-balled everything but it came together very nicely, I think. when I say impatient, I really mean I have no pattern so I have to wing it. I guess I could try and create a pattern, but that's where the impatience comes in.
How fun! I love that house!
ReplyDeleteI know she'll enjoy it.

ReplyDeleteI love the naivety of this piece. So cute and I love the way you eyeball these pieces, makes them so 'one of a kind'!
ReplyDeletehow beautiful! I am glad the eyeballing of it seems to have worked out very well for you, it looks great. I adore the hand stitching in the bright bright threads. What a wonderful pincussion!
