Friday's child

Thank goodness for variety. If I had to make the same thing all the time, I would lose my spirit. I try new things, and those that capture me become passions. Vintage assemblage jewelry is one of them.
For those who asked, I came across this dress form in a dressmaker's storeroom. The screw in the base was broken and she hadn't used it for years, so she gave it to me in exchange for a little piece of art. Yes, I got it for free. The screw was replaced but it still doesn't fit, so she has to be propped against a wall. But...I am not complaining!

Simplicity is the ultimate sophistication. Leonardo daVinci

  2. I love trying new things. I would love to learn to make willow furniture and tables made from old porch posts.
