Quiet Sunday

Looking at this little baby gown, made of heavy cotton, a little yellowed with age, I wondered whose it was. Who was that baby, what was his/her life like... The dress was preserved by my Irish mother-in-law, so it must have been an ancestor, but on which side of the family, I have no idea. There is such nostalgia about it...
[The French Laundry hanger is by Catherine Moore]

  2. What a precious gown! So special. And that hanger I've seen around a lot on artsy sites - I got mine in Savannah. xo

  3. Somehow there's a story behind this dress Colette and I'd love to know what you think it is.
