Gone hiking (almost)

I'll be winding things down in the next week, temporarily ending my eBay listings, although my etsy shop will continue as usual. When I return to eBay in early September, there will be new things (being created as we speak). Starting August 22, I'll be on a short vacation that is sorely needed and that I look forward to. Being self-employed, it's rare that I actually take time off, and it is time I did so!

My classmate and good friend, Sylvie, is having me over for a few days -- I'll be going all the way to Dublin just to gab in French and eat clafouti (I can't wait). Sylvie and I were the only native French speakers in our class. Then I go south to see the family, and I'm hoping to hike in the Wicklow Hills. They are a very special place for me.

Meanwhile, I really am going to go and see The Bourne Ultimatum -- in a couple of hours.

Have a swell day!

  8. oh Colette! how wonderful - a little break.. to a place you love.. I must look the Wicklow Hills up, I love the name. I have made clafouti - I love it.. I am sure it is not as delicious as 'real french' clafouti.. but it tastes yummy just the same.
