Chickens

I've collected post-cards all my life. To send, to keep. Going through a boxful, I found this one. It's a childhood rhyme that I had completely forgotten, about a chicken on a wall, pecking at some dry bread, then lifts her tail and off she goes. I don't know which I learned first, the French ditties or the English ones, because I remember them all. It's very likely I learned them at the same time.

  1. Oh this is adorable! I found a new love...French children's rhymes and postcards. Would love to see more of your postcard collection. :)
