So -- which came first, the bird or the egg?
And, by the way, that question about the tree falling in the forest and if there's no one around, does it make a sound? It's always struck me as an odd concept. Of course it makes a sound; just because there's no one around to hear it doesn't mean it doesn't make a sound.
These are so beautifully creative, Colette. Love the combo of fabric and lace.
ReplyDeleteThese are the one a couple of posts down are just breathtaking Colette. I love the vintage materials you are using. They really make the pieces lush.

ReplyDeleteOh dear..I'm just sipping my first coffee. Perhaps I shouldn't attempt commenting until I'm finished drinking it. I tried to correct myself and made an even bigger goof in the correction. That was to read, "These and the one..."

Beautiful, as always!
ReplyDeleteIt is always such a morning pleasure to visit you here Colette...with my very bad Folgers Columbian coffee from a percolator that is on the brink of giving up. Any tips on a good and cheap coffee maker? Anyway...I adore this egg quiltie...the one on the right did not load. Your use of neutrals and the varying textures and laces is just brilliant! ( I love neutrals and whites as long as there is lots of texture) Beautiful and elegant is this little egg! Have a lovely weekend my friend! xxxooo
ReplyDeleteOh these are so lovely Colette!! The egg images work so well with your color schemes....I love how you add the black x's (kisses) too.
ReplyDeleteI see this often in your work and it is a lovely touch.
I agree with you about the silliness of that question about a tree falling in a forest. Always thought that was very strange.
