Dog walking

I have become a dog walker for two people who live in my building. Not a bad little sideline because I love dogs. I grew up with an Alsatian, and I have a soft spot for mutts and rescue dogs.

These dogs, however, are small and didn't need rescuing, but no less lovable.

Two of them are bichons frisés, retired show dogs, a father and son, and very sweet.

The third one is a dachshund. He's a little guy who is very affectionate and, while we had a rocky start when he refused to walk, I dog-whispered him and now we're best friends.

The added bonus is that I get a lot of exercise.

Simplicity is the removal of the useless and the unnecessary--source unknown

  1. Cute faces-what a great job to have-more fun than work!

  2. Fabulous job Colette. I still miss our dogs but after having them for over 30 years it’s nice to have the freedom to come and go as we please

    1. I remember, Lynn. I still miss my Alsatian from my girlhood. Walking someone else's dogs suits me better these days. xxx

  3. It's nice that you can have doggie relationships without having your own. Lately I've been dreaming of someday living in an apartment downtown and working at the doggie daycare located across the street.

Thank you so much for taking the time to comment. I really appreciate each and every one of you.
